KELOO Countertop Bain Marie 2 x 1/2 GN 1.2kW - Wet Well Food Warmer - BM-1/2

Two dishes on the counter, same footprint. The BM-1/2 splits the same 540mm well into two 1/2 gastronorm pans, so a curry and a rice, or a chilli and a sauce, sit side by side and stay separate.
Wet well heating surrounds the pans with heated water rather than heating them directly, so both hold for hours without catching or drying at the edges.
Key features
- Takes 2 x 1/2 GN pans, 150mm deep - two dishes held separately on one unit
- Wet well heating - indirect heat through water, so nothing catches on the base
- 540 x 340 x 250mm (W x D x H) - the same compact footprint as the single-pan model
- 1.2kW on a standard 13A supply - plugs into an ordinary socket
- Two wells at approximately 300 x 240 x 150mm - full working depth for properly loaded pans
- Adjustable thermostat - set it to hold above 63°C and leave it
- 201-grade stainless steel - easy to clean, easy to sanitise

Typical uses
Curry house and takeaway counters, carvery and buffet lines, café hot food service, canteens and staff restaurants, event catering, and street food units offering a choice of two.
Choosing your configuration
This range runs 1 x 1/1 pan (BM-1/1), 2 x 1/2 pans (BM-1/2) and 3 x 1/3 pans (BM-1/3) - all 150mm deep and all on roughly the same footprint. Choose by how many dishes you serve, not by volume: total well capacity is similar across all three. Two pans is the usual choice for a takeaway counter, giving you a main and a side without splitting the well too thin.
Good to know
Always fill the well with water before switching on - running a wet well dry damages the element and is the most common cause of failure. This is holding equipment, not cooking equipment: bring food up to temperature first, then transfer it in. UK food safety guidance is to hold hot food at 63°C or above; check with a probe rather than relying on the dial. Gastronorm pans and lids are sold separately.
