Curved or square?

Curved glass reads as patisserie and flatters a cake stand; square glass reads as deli and food-to-go, and gives you a taller clear opening at the front for boxed and stacked product. If most of what goes in the cabinet is packaged - sandwiches, sushi trays, salad pots - the square-glass GN-1200RT is the more practical of the two.

Good to know

Check your counter before you order: 1200 x 530mm is a lot of worktop, and the unit needs a clear air gap behind it for the vents. Countertop displays hold chilled product rather than pulling it down from room temperature, so chill product first and then load. Keep it out of direct sun and away from ovens and heat lamps.
