The film contains liquid crystal molecules between conductive layers. With no power, the crystals scatter light and the film appears frosted. Apply a low voltage and the crystals align, making the film transparent. The change is instant.
Yes. Our self-adhesive film is applied directly to existing glass — no glass replacement needed. It's the fastest, most cost-effective route for retrofit projects. For new glazing, we recommend laminated film sealed inside the glass unit itself.
Fully. The film runs on a low operating voltage through a certified transformer, and all products are CE and RoHS certified. As a bonus, laminated film actually improves glass safety — if the glass ever breaks, the film holds the fragments together.
Your choice: wall switch, remote control, smartphone app, voice assistant (Alexa / Google), or a fader dimmer that lets you set any level between clear and frosted. It also integrates with smart home and building management systems (KNX and similar).
Very little — typically around 5W per square metre when in transparent mode, and zero in frosted mode. Running a meeting room partition costs pennies per day.

Yes. In frosted mode the film is an excellent rear-projection surface, and our transparent LED display film turns glass into a full digital screen — a favourite for retail and hospitality clients.
