One flat deck, nothing in the way. Where a shelved trolley limits what you can carry, a platform trolley takes whatever fits on it - crates, sacks, boxes, catering boxes, tall containers, awkward equipment. The single 900 x 550mm deck is the point.

Built on a 1.2mm stainless deck, noticeably heavier gauge than the 0.6mm used on tiered serving carts, because a platform trolley gets loaded until it is full.

Choosing your trolley

Pick platform if you carry bulk and awkward loads; pick a tiered cart if you carry many small items and want them separated; pick a GN rack if you are moving gastronorm pans or trays. A platform trolley is the most versatile of the three but the least organised - if everything you carry is small, a two-tier cart will serve you better.

Good to know

201-grade stainless gives you the same easy-clean, non-porous surface as higher grades at a lower price, which suits general kitchen and back-of-house duties. If the trolley will live outdoors, in a wash-up area or anywhere exposed to salt or heavy bleach, talk to our team about a 304-grade alternative.
