KELOO Commercial Meat Slicer 220mm 8 Inch Blade - Semi-Automatic - HBS-8

Slice to a set thickness, and every portion costs the same. Hand-carving is where sandwich margin quietly disappears - two grams over on every slice adds up fast. A slicer set to a dial gives you the same portion every time, from anyone on shift.
The HBS-8 is the compact model with a 220mm blade, sized for deli counters, sandwich bars and cafés slicing to order.
Key features
- 220mm (8 inch) blade - handles standard deli meats, cheeses and cooked joints
- 0-10mm adjustable thickness - from paper-thin charcuterie to thick-cut sandwich slices on one dial
- Consistent portioning - the same yield per joint regardless of who is slicing
- 440 x 380 x 340mm (W x D x H) - compact enough for a deli counter or a prep bench
- 0.32kW motor - low power draw on a standard 13A socket
- Semi-automatic carriage - smooth manual stroke with the blade doing the work
- Strip-down for cleaning - blade guard, carriage and deflector come off for daily washing

Choosing your size
This range runs a 220mm blade (HBS-8) and a 250mm blade (HBS-10), both with the same 0-10mm thickness range and the same 0.32kW motor. Blade diameter sets the maximum size of product you can slice, not how fast you can slice it - so choose on the largest joint or cheese you handle. If you only slice standard deli meats, the 220mm is plenty; step up to 250mm if you regularly work with large joints or full cheese wheels.
Good to know
A slicer is one of the most dangerous pieces of kit in a commercial kitchen. Only trained staff should operate or clean it, always with the blade guard in place and the machine isolated before stripping down for cleaning - and UK health and safety rules place restrictions on young workers using dangerous machinery, so check your obligations before putting anyone under 18 on the slicer. Keep the blade sharp: a dull blade tears product, needs more force and is significantly more likely to cause an injury.
